Not every great photo happens at sunrise. This one happened on a rainy afternoon at Cross Street Flower Farm in Norwell, when my daughter and I were just out running errands. We stopped by the farm on our way home to chekc out the gift shot and was struck by this scene: a classic beach cruised covered in bright spring flowers, propped against a weathered shingle wall still dark from the rain.
This print, "Velo des Fleurs," is a little different from my obvious coastal work. While there isn't an ocean or a light, it elicits the same feeling as the rest of my work: a warm, colorful, distinctly New England moment that makes you feel good just looking at it.
